Does an element fit the selected level? How should a rule be interpreted for your team? Or do you have a question about a mark on your scorecard? There is now a dedicated section for these questions: the ‘Rule Enquiries’ section on the GCO club portal.
Questions regarding the rules before the competition and questions about scoring
You can ask general questions about the rules directly via the dashboard. Go to the ‘Rule Enquiries’ section under ‘CCA Competitions’ and create a new enquiry. You can also use this method before the competition – a scorecard is not required for this.
If you have a question about the scoring, please use the link on your team page. Next to the scoring sheet, you’ll find ‘Ask the Head Judge a question’. Your team and event will be linked to your enquiry via this link. Please describe specifically which mark or deduction you have a query about.
Pictures, videos and replies all in one place
You can attach images or videos to explain your query. Questions and replies from the Head Judge will appear in the same thread. If you have any further questions, you can continue the conversation there. New replies will be highlighted in the ‘Rules Enquiries’ section.
How to ask a comprehensive question about the rules
Please state the relevant rule and describe the element or situation as precisely as possible. Include the relevant details regarding the team, level, age group and category. If you have a question about scoring, please also specify the relevant mark or deduction. Clear photographs or videos help to illustrate the execution.
Submit a standard enquiry using your club login details
Log in using your existing club account and open ‘Rules enquiries’. Alternatively, if you have any questions about scoring, you can go straight to the team page.
Images and videos are deleted after 30 days; your questions and answers are retained. Submitting a query does not automatically result in a change to the rating.
