The GermanCheerOpen is sponsored by the Deutscher Cheersport Verein e.V. and organised in collaboration with the CCA CentralCheerleadingAgency. As an open international championship series, it brings together teams from numerous countries and stands for diversity, quality and international exchange in cheerleading.
In order to further promote international exchange, the Deutscher Cheersport Verein e.V. and CCA are systematically expanding their international partnerships. The aim is to strengthen dialogue between countries and organisations and to open up new opportunities for international cheerleading events.
One element of this strategy is cooperation with international partners in the field of sport development (‘Sport for All’). This also includes cooperation with the FISpT – Fédération Internationale du Sport pour Tous, an international organisation in the field of ‘Sport for All’ which is recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
The partnership with FISpT does not involve the creation of a new cheerleading federation or any changes to existing sporting structures. Rather, it serves as an international network that supports exchanges between countries and promotes international participation in GermanCheerOpen events.
The Deutscher Cheersport Verein e.V. and CCA share the aim of further developing the GermanCheerOpen as an open, high-calibre and internationally oriented championship series, and of strengthening European cheersport in the long term.
