The GermanCheerOpen is supported by the Deutscher Cheersport Verein e.V. and organised in cooperation with the CCA CentralCheerleadingAgency. As an open international championship series, it brings together teams from numerous countries and stands for diversity, quality and international encounters in cheer sport.
In order to further promote international exchange, the German Cheersport Association and CCA are expanding their international cooperation in a targeted manner. The aim is to strengthen the dialogue between countries and organisations and to create new perspectives for international cheerleading events.
One component of this strategy is cooperation with international partners in the area of sport development ("Sport for All"). This also includes cooperation with the FISpT - Fédération Internationale du Sport pour Tous, an international organisation in the field of "Sport for All" that is recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
The cooperation with FISpT does not mean a new cheerleading association or a change to existing sporting structures. Rather, it serves as an international network that supports the exchange between countries and promotes international participation in GermanCheerOpen events.
The German Cheersport Verein e.V. and CCA are jointly pursuing the goal of further developing the GermanCheerOpen as an open, high-quality and internationally orientated championship series and strengthening European cheer sport in the long term.
