Our mission

The GermanCheerOpen is one of Europe’s leading independent cheerleading championship series and brings together teams from many countries every year. Our aim is to promote cheerleading as a sport and to create a platform where athletes can showcase their skills at the highest level.

International standards
We work in accordance with recognised valuation standards and attach great importance to transparent, fair and accountable processes.

Professional organisation
The GermanCheerOpen is organised by the German Cheerleading Association e.V. organised in collaboration with the CCA Central Cheerleading Agency organised. An experienced team ensures that everything runs smoothly and reliably.

Qualified referees
We rely on experienced judges and a professional competitive environment that prioritises sporting excellence and fairness.

By the community, for the community: we organise events that bring teams, coaches and fans together.

International Network & Partnerships

In order to further strengthen international exchange, the Deutscher Cheersport Verein e.V. and CCA are systematically expanding their international collaborations. In doing so, we are working with partners from various countries as well as with international sports organisations in the field of sports development.

As part of this internationalisation strategy, there is a partnership with the FISpT (International Federation of Sport for All), an international organisation in the field of Sport for All, which are provided by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is recognised.

This partnership does not constitute a professional cheerleading association and has no influence on sporting regulations or national association structures. Its sole purpose is to facilitate international networking, exchange between organisations and the further development of international events.

The GermanCheerOpen was launched to provide cheerleading teams from various countries with a high-quality and open competition platform. Since its inception, the series has continued to develop and is now an integral part of the European cheerleading calendar.
